These scholarships require a separate application, and may be based on your major, financial need, academic performance, or extracurricular activities. These awards may require an essay specific to the scholarship or the FAFSA, in addition to the application. The deadline to apply for these scholarships is February 15.
The first step to being considered for any of these programs is to submit an application for admission to IUPUI.
Once you have applied for admission, you'll be eligible to create your IU computing account. You can then apply for scholarship opportunities using our general application:

Interested in Applying for Scholarships? Visit the scholarship system at ONE.IU.edu, login with your username and passphrase and search for the word “Scholarships”. Once you are in the Scholarships system, you can submit the General Application and see recommended opportunities. You can also search for scholarships of interest i.e. Engineering and Technology scholarships.
Admission-based scholarships are awarded at the time you are admitted to IUPUI based by your high school GPA and SAT or ACT scores. Students with a minimum 3.75 GPA are guaranteed an admissions-based scholarship. From there award eligibility varies based on a combination of GPA and standardized test results. No separate scholarship applications are required for these scholarships.
For early merit award notification, complete all necessary materials by the November 15 priority consideration date to be notified of the scholarship amount in mid-December.

IUPUI Honors College offers high-achieving incoming freshmen the opportunity to apply to four competitive scholarship programs. Scholarship recipients are determined based on a variety of factors: the strength of academic curriculum in high school, standardized test results, grade trends, and qualities specified in each scholarship program.
Applicants must apply for admission to IUPUI and complete the IUPUI Honors College Scholarship by November 15.

If you live in a state that participates in the Midwest Student Exchange Program, you could save more than $64,000 on tuition during your academic career at IUPUI.
The average tuition cost for an out-of-state student at IUPUI is currently $29,806 per year. MSEP award recipients pay tuition at 150 percent of IUPUI’s in-state rate, which reduces the cost to $13,462 for a savings of $16,344 per year.
No separate application is needed for award consideration.
Participating states: Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Eligibility requirements: residency in participating state and 2.75 high school GPA.
Undergraduate residents of Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Puerto Rico who are admitted to IUPUI for the fall 2022 term (or later) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 will receive our Student Excellence Award. Similar to the Midwest Student Exchange Program, these will be automatically awarded at the time of admission, and provide students with an award accounting for a 56.9% reduction in out-of-state tuition.
The IUPUI Sustainability Scholarship creates an opportunity for one student to learn through the lens of sustainability in any related discipline while at IUPUI. One scholarship recipient will be awarded $20,000 for a four-year undergraduate degree, while fostering rich hands-on learning opportunities through a year-long internship with the IUPUI Office of Sustainability.

The net price calculator allows students to designate their degree program, state residency, and other factors to determine how much tuition and fees will be in conjunction with any scholarships and need-based aid a student may receive at IUPUI.

Amounts: $1,000 annual scholarships for all four years (minimum high school GPA of 3.0 required).

Requirements: The Harry C. Schumacher and Stella O'Brien Schumacher Scholarship is available for all traditional, full-time students who are admitted to IUPUI and majoring in mechanical engineering.
Amounts: $500 - $4000 depending on eligibility
Details: Preference will be given to male students who will be graduating from a Marion County public high school, but female students will also be considered. This is a scholarship gives preference to women and minority students whose presence will enhance the learning environment through increased diversity in the School of Engineering and Technology. Students must be directly admitted to the School of Engineering and Technology in an engineering or engineering technology program. Students may re-apply for this scholarship each year. Awardees required to attend workshops throughout the semester and 10 hours of service per semester.

Requirements: Be a Malaysian citizen graduating from a Malaysian secondary school or transferring from a Malaysian post-secondary school. Preference will be given to the children of Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI, Malaysian alums, but others from Malaysia will be considered. Minimum 3.0 GPA (B average) is required from last institution attended.
Amount: $2,000 - $4,000 depending on eligibility

This scholarship is available to all incoming freshmen who are pursuing Engineering or Engineering Technology programs in the School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI. The students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Special consideration will be given to female and minority students who meet the criteria. The scholarship may be renewed through the recipient’s senior year, provided the recipient has maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and has attended workshops offered by the School or other unit on the IUPUI campus during the academic year.

The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI will provide a $2,000 freshman scholarship, contingent upon acceptance and enrollment into the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI to participants of the NXG Youth Motorsports Programs who have completed three (3) classes within NXG Youth Motorsports Academy.
Deadline: February 15th
The $2,000 awards are renewable for up to 4 years, a maximum of $8,000.00 per student. Students will have to maintain a 2.7 grade point average, continued enrollment and making good progress in an Engineering and Technology
major, and a minimum level of service hours to NXG Youth Motorsports Programs.

The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI will provide an additional $2,000 freshman scholarship, contingent upon acceptance and enrollment into the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI to participants of the NXG Youth Motorsports Programs who have completed at least one (1) full season of the NXG Grand Prix Championship Series.

The two NXG awards totaling $4,000 award are renewable for up to 4 years, a maximum of $16,000.00 per student. Students will have to maintain a 2.7 grade point average, continued enrollment and making good progress in an Engineering and Technology major, and a minimum level of service hours to NXG Youth Motorsports Programs.

The Elks National Foundation provides more than $3.64 million in college scholarships each year through its three scholarship programs. The application process and deadlines vary for each program. All applications must go through a local Elks Lodge before reaching the Elks National Foundation office. Contact your high school counselor for more information or your local Elks Lodge.
