MS in Technology

Technology is always changing, so we've developed a graduate program that allows students to pursue courses that align with their own expertise and interests. You can earn a general MS in Technology in just 33 credit hours and choose the right path that meets your needs!

Plan of Study

The MS in Technology requires 33 credit hours or 30 credit hours plus three credit hours of a Directed Project.

MS Tech CIGT Student Handbook

The MS Tech has two program options: Directed Project or Course-Only. The Directed Project option requires a minimum of 30 hours of coursework plus three credit hours of a Directed Project decided upon by you and your advisor.  The Course-Only option requires a minimum of 33 hours of coursework.

Both options require the completion of 2 MS TECH core courses or (6) core credit hours as follows:

  • TECH 50700 Measurement and Evaluation in Industry and Technology
  • OLS 57100 Advanced Project Management in Technology

You will then choose 24 or 27 credit hours of graduate courses in the CIT program and other areas of study as determined by your advisor.
