AS in Interior Design Technology

The emphasis of this Interior Design Technology (INTR) degree is on technical knowledge, methodology, and aesthetic appreciation of interior design for the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Students will learn the importance of communications skills and visual presentation. An awareness of environmental, business, ethical, and other contemporary issues are incorporated into the curriculum. Classroom knowledge is linked to application in the field.

Graduates will possess the skills needed to work as interior design assistants and be able to sit for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) exam after four years of work experience.

Educational Objectives for the A.S. Interior Design
