As chair of the Department of Technology Leadership and Communication, Feldhaus will play a key leadership role in developing and guiding the implementation of the School’s plans and programs in Organizational Leadership and Supervision and Technical Communication.
"Charles has assumed his interim chair responsibilities in a conscientious, insightful, and reasoned manner. He has been the source of innovative approaches to grow the graduate program in TLC and there is data to support that his ideas have been effective,” said Russomanno. “His continued leadership will be critical to growing TLC’s entire portfolio and increasing the recognition of the scholarship produced by the department.”
Feldhaus has served as interim chair of the Department of Technology Leadership and Communication since 2015, and was promoted to professor of organizational leadership and supervision that same year. He has been with the campus since his arrival as assistant professor in 2001.
“I feel so fortunate to be a part of the IUPUI campus and the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology. Working with TLC faculty and staff the past two years has been professionally rewarding. I look forward to growing our graduate and undergraduate programs in Organizational Leadership and Technical Communication. The TLC department is poised to lead cutting edge initiatives in teaching, research and service, and I’m certain that our strategic goals will be realized.”
Feldhaus earned his B.A. from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Radio and Television, a M.S. from Indiana University in Secondary Education, and the Ed.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Louisville.
