IUPUI was well represented at the Purdue Grand Prix on Saturday. All four of our karts qualified in the top 12.
MSTE Freshman, Brenden Johnson, finished a close 2nd. He had the lead for a while in the last half of the race but lapped traffic caused him to lose precious seconds. But, he was right there at the end.
ME Senior Zach Robinson finished 4th in his 2nd race.
MSTE student James Schnabel finished 7th.
Chemistry major Allison Schoch had been running in the top 10 most of the race but did not finish due to damage received on the race track. Our SWE team was again the only all-female team.
Congrats to not only our drivers but to all of the students who work on the karts and serve as crew members during practices, qualifications, and race day.
