The SHPE Indiana/Rolls-Royce Engineering Scholarship is awarded to Hispanic students pursuing a career in Engineering.
This year, the celebration was hosted by Professor Andres Tovar. Israel Encarnacion Doroteo and Omar Ocelotl Tecuanhuey were awarded the 2018 SHPE Indiana/Rolls-Royce Engineering Scholarship for Hispanic students pursuing a career in Engineering. The scholarship is awarded based on academic credentials. The scholarship provides $1,000 cash award to each recipient and the opportunity for an internship at Rolls-Royce.
Doroteo and Tecuanhuey are majoring in mechanical engineering at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI.
