Instruction Goal
In this course, you will learn to
- analyze examples of academic engineering written and oral presentations to discover conventions of content selection, organization, uses of visuals, and stylistic features
- plan, prepare, and deliver oral and written presentations on engineering topics that you choose to engineering audiences simulated by your classmates and professors
- develop skills in evaluating your own and other students’ documents and performances and in giving constructive advice and feedback to colleagues as they are preparing their documents and presentations
