Systems of particles, kinematics and plane motion of rigid bodies, forces and accelerations, energy and momentum methods. Kinetics, equations of motions, energy and momentum methods for rigid bodies in three-dimensional motion. Application to projectiles, gyroscopes, machine elements, and other engineering systems.

After completion of this course, the students should be able to:
