Seminar for Senior Design Project

Preliminary work toward the senior design project is carried out with guidance from faculty. This course includes background research, review of previous projects, definition of project requirements, and the creation of a formal project proposal.

Course Outcomes (What are these?)
At the conclusion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Explain the importance of attending regularly scheduled meeting with their client and keeping an accurate log of their discussions (CGT e)
- Define the deliverables pertinent to a graphics project such as the one on which they are currently working (CGT e & f)
- Be able to benchmark their project against similar work which has already been completed or similar clients in business and industry (CGT b & f)
- Present their completed project in a professional manner to a group of peers and professionals CGT d & f)
- Create a professional portfolio of their work which can be used in position interviews to highlight their expertise (CGT e & i)
- Express their opinions clearly in class discussions at each session and outline the progress of their project to date (CGT f)
